i like outdraws which fulfill two criteria

- Happen on the flop (when all in and cards are up)
- Are really brutal, in terms of putting you so far in front.

I remember once getting it all in in a tourney with pocket 10's against pocket queens, and the first two cards out on the flop were the other two tens...He then got a little bit of hope on the turn with another Queen, but unfortunately the drama was broken by someone at the table muttering..."i had the other queen"..

I love the gutshot...I even play for it these days as people will almost always pay you off as they don't expect you to be a big enough mug to call with a gutshot draw Smiley

Yes, I am that big of a mug...especially early in a tourney Smiley Later on I'm a mug for other reasons

my fav outdraw ever was the speech outdraw
i was playing a live p/l holdem cash game  when i flop a straight with the

i led out as there were 2 spades on the flop i got raised so i reraised he then reraised me. the pot was so big now that i pushed allin. he called in a heartbeat (hellmuth style)  throws his cars over and says i flopped the straight

the flop was   three clubs

i tell him i have the straight also

he then gives me the speech about how i should be careful putting all my chips in with no spades   he turns over his    telling me about the freeroll he was on and how p@@@ed i would be if he hits running spades on me

the turn comes  and river

he then tells me how lucky i was to be getting half the pot.
ill never forget his face when i turn over my flush

So, he makes a habit of this then!!  I thought it was just me he was picking on with his outdraws!

The third time he did it, he even called that he was going to outdraw me before the hands were turned over!
