I am looking for answers. Each time I try to move from $100 to $200 either 6 max or FR, I am getting destroyed. The thing is that I am killing $100 and lower.

6 max-------:100-------------- :200
Stats---------:19.3/13.1----- :18.3/11.3
BB/100-----:13.25------------: -5.5
FR------------:100------------: 200
Stats--------:17.3/7.5-----: 15.6/8.4
BB/100----:11.5------------: 1.46

These stats are over several thousand hands at each level. I move up and lose then I rebuild, then I take another shot. Is there something about $200 that I am not getting? I was beating the $200 at Party pretty good. I don't understand why I am having so much trouble. I don't think the level of play is that much different at 6 max. The $200 6 max game is the only one that I have ever been a losing player at.

I'm the same, I can kill 1/2 but get killed at 2/4. Just bad luck I think you move up a few times it's a bit harder, you run bad and have to move down. One day you move up run good and stay there. Touch wood.

Is your game changing because of the increase in level?

Typically, although not always, there are less people in a pot at $1/$2, less limping, and more raising / reraising - this probably means less easy/free money.
These tendencies are then even more obvious at $2/$4.

I play $1/$2, $2/$4 and sometimes smaller.
The higher I go I find I need to concentrate more on what the other players are doing, and think about playing pots against different players in different ways (i.e. trapping vs aggression).

The thing that has the biggest impact on my ROI is game selection.
Spend a bit of time finding the fishiest game(s) you possibly can, and be prepared to stand up if you don't feel you can easily beat it.

Apologies if this is teaching you to suck eggs.
