Ok, let me set the scene....

I love Christmas,      Kiss
I love my wife,         Kiss
I love buying presents for her,     Kiss

Considering all of the above you'd think that this would be a great time of the year for me and yes you'd be right!

All except one little part of it that is.............wrapping the blooming things!

It's not that I don't want to do it, I just find it's something I'm particularly rubbish at doing.

I've built up some "present rules" over the years such as always buying easily wrappable ready-boxed items, not to mention getting wrapping paper that has lines printed on it to assist my cutting out!    Hell,  I've even now got a sellotape dispenser from the Betterware lady!

Despite all this every year I end up with a pile of presents for my wife that look that our five year old godson could have wrapped up.  Actually that's probably doing him a disservice as well !

Anyway, tonight's the night for the annual nightmare as she's out singing and I'm currently poised with scissors, wrapping paper, labels, bows etc etc

So wish me luck and any tips gratefully received!

Only buy pressies at shops that offer free gift wrapping services or at the very least ones that wrap for a price

I'm rubbish at wrapping too but I don't worry about it - the paper is going to get ripped off soon enough.

lol,  I am terrible at wrapping gifts as well. I think it is a male thing.  It is a very difficult thing to do, I just fold it over and then scrunch up the ends with some tape. It looks bad, but it is as good as I can do

My wrapping is rubbish too, think you are too particular about you're wrapping Keithy by the sounds of it.  I mean paper with lines, cellotape dispensers etc.  Far too practical to be a bloke.
