i think thats its a good appointment for Charlton. I actually felt quite sorry for pardew getting sacked at west ham. he got sacked because they are in the bottom 3 but i think if they were in the bottom 3 last season when they 1st came up nothing would of been said because it would've been accepted.

I feel he has probably been a victim of his own success by massively overachieving last season.

I think he will do well to get Charlton out of their current position, Ive watched them a few times on TV this season and they look absolutely clueless but if he does save them from the drop i think it will match his achievement from last year

I have completely missed this over Xmas! Charlton sacked that bloke and have appointed Pardew?!!
The Charlotn board should sack themselves.
Sack one manager after a couple of weeks - though that appeared to be player power, appoint a nobody on a one year deal, increase his deal to a three year deal after 4 losses, then sack him a week after that.
They are bigger muppets than the Newcastle board.

Great move for Charlton but Rooky is right. They've just cost themselves a few million with all this nonsense.

Yep its a mess but the players have to look at themselves again, they made it really clear they didn't want to play for the manager and hung him out to dry with some of the most inept performances ever.

I mean luke young vs Liverpool ffs absolutly joker. He's still spitting his dummy out about not getting his summer move to west ham.
