That must be one of the all time great sporting events and you have to hand it to Barry Hearn and Sky, they have got the sport back to where it was in the late 70's and early 80's.

just without Jocky Wilson!! Cheesy

Found out some info, they go on sale around June on Plantdarts.tv - subscribers to the site (£25pa) get a weeks presale opportunity.

Should be ok to get tickets for the early stages, just need to get in there quickly.  I expect it's worth signing up for.  I'll have a go nearer the time anyway.

Those were the days mate, Wilson, Lowe, Bristow. I spent hours and hours playing darts and snooker in those days after watching those sports on TV.

I remember writing a essay at school when Bristow left Deller 124(?) to win and he made it.  Lips Sealed

does anyone know where you get tickets for this event?   I'd like to go next year if I can get them, but don't know where to apply!

they go on sale in the summer, and you can get them online.

Ive got some tickets for the premier league when its at the NIA in birmingham.

I want to go to the world matchplay in july at the winter gardens at blackpool, tickets go on sale today i think, certinly some time this week. cant find anyone to go though and its also the week of my daughters birthday oh and the WSOP should i be luckly enough to win a seat lol.

This was awesome tonight, sick that Taylor lost but on the other hand chuffed that the BDO champ won it, just goes to show that the BDO is not the baby brother after all.
The PDC is where the cash is at the moment and now the top 10 in the world can actually make a living out of darts (even in it's heyday the only 2 true pro's were Jockey Wilson and Eric Bristow believe it or not) so it's all good for the future, it costs £300 to join the PDC and in the majority of their comps it's £500 to win the first match, £1000 to get past the second round etc.

All good stuff, i have a mate that wants to sponsor me for the PDC next year but there is a lot of logistic issues that we need to look at if i were to have a pop.
