Multi question time
Who - who do you wanna be whats your poker ambitionsI've just thrown myself into playing lots of poker, and I'm happy if it just pays for itself.

What - What type of player are you mtt/sng/cash holdem/omaha/mix pl/nl/flMainly cheap NL Holdem STT & MTTS and a fair bit of Limit Holdem Cash (0.25/0.5), but these pay for the Omaha, Razz and Stud games which I win buckleys at but I enjoy playing anyway.
Why - Why did you get started in pokerTo forget
When - When did you start playing pokerThe very, very end of January 2006. I learnt Hold'em from The Hendon Mob guide, searched around for another few hours looking for other things to read, played with play money for another few hours before deciding that I was prepared enough to play with real money. Haven't stopped playing since.
How are you getting on are you reaching your targetsIn terms of the poker paying for itself: I started off with a $5 STT win so I was in the black from the start. Dipped into the red shortly after, until I had my first MTT win in March. Some other high cashes and small wins were making it look easy until I went on a 28 session losing streak which put me back in red, but a good end to the year meant I finished comfortably ahead (albeit with a $/hr of $0.15) -
so short answer:- so far so goodHowever - it is true that your expectations change without you necessarily realising. A couple of weeks ago I was getting annoyed because I kept on finishing a place or two off the final table on a number of MTT's. Then I remembered that I used to get annoyed because I kept on finishing a place or two off the money.
I'm happy as long as I cover my entry fees in winnings, but if I ever get annoyed that I keep on finishing a place or two off of winning - It'll be a happy kind of annoyed
