Chris Smith, whose neighbour doesn't look too impressed with his stack.  Chris, however, just seems to love playing, big chips or little chips, though, which is a very likeable quality.  He's going to have to make some kind of definitive move soon, however, as the blinds are about to go up to 800/1,500 which is the biggest jump so far (currently 500/1000).

It was Terry Scott from the Carry On crew and Terry and June.

And if one Smith is short stacked, the other's in the top 5% chipwise - Daniel has 77,000 and is currently pretending to be a reserved, suave player.  The front slips, every now and then, however.

Neil Kelly is OUT.

All-in on a 9-4-J Flop with Q-J, he found Jack Byron with J-9. 9 on Turn sealed his fate.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

RED-DOG's tomorrow's world (poker world anyhow) suggestion is for poker tables where the dealer sits in a cut-out hole in the middle.

Good idea or off his trolley?

Where would the pot and flop be dealt?

Yes what a great idea ... NOT  Cheesy

Imagine a dealer with his back to half the table..... Has Red been on the Guinness ??

Red here. It was Snoopy's idea, and when I pointed out the flaws, he passed it off as mine.

I remember Tom talking about this at the £300 event at Stoke, where they had these lovely round tables so everyone could see each other, the problem of oval tables being that seat 1 and 10 can't see each other. The only trouble with these tables was that all the dealers, even those with baboon-esque arms, couldn't reach the far side of the table to rake in chips and cards which was a minor hindrance. I still prefer these tables to the oval ones, but I would love it if someone could design a table which addressed both the flaws of the oval and circular tables.

Aah, yes, but the idea is that he spins round. Like a revolving table at the chinese.

I think the future holds no tables at all, just a kind of magnetic field in which the flop hovers, while cards appear via little chutes in your armrests, dealt by robots.
