RED-DOG's tomorrow's world (poker world anyhow) suggestion is for poker tables where the dealer sits in a cut-out hole in the middle.

Good idea or off his trolley?

Where would the pot and flop be dealt?

I said this, to which RED responded, "You could suspend the dealer from the ceiling".

Back to the real world, and Tikay is OUT -

He'd gotten down to under 12k, and was going to have to make a move.  As it turns out that move was with on the blinds (hooray!), but the late position raiser was short-stacked Mats Iremark (pictured) who'd pushed with three diamonds.  All fine until the river, then the Ace.  Hard luck, Mr. Kendall.

Loo watch is back in full force.

Whilst washing my hands, Ian, who was shaking his willy at the urinal, informed me that he went out with A-K.

"There was a under the gun flat caller, Jim Reid moved all-in with Sixes and I shoved with A-K. The other guy passed his Eights, so I actually saved Jim. At least my chips went to him though."

Yes what a great idea ... NOT  Cheesy

Imagine a dealer with his back to half the table..... Has Red been on the Guinness ??

Aah, yes, but the idea is that he spins round. Like a revolving table at the chinese.

even if he spins around like a battling top (who remembers Battling Tops by the way, what a gane that was) he will still have his back to some of the players at all times ... Crap Idea ... scrap it, and get to work Smiley

Gerry Dolans has doubled up off Broadway regular C Constantinou, K-Qs vs K-To.

Gerry is now on around 20k.

After Nick Slades exit, I thought the inverted chair sitting species had become extinct, but not so! Lookey, lookey, it's even popular in Ireland.

If anyone can name this chap, please help me out. Whoever he is, he's currently struggling along with just 10.6k.

We've been told the aim of today, tournament running wise, is to get all the way down to the Final Table of 9.  They've got a seriously long way to go if that's to happen... Meanwhile there are a couple of stacks which are considerably bigger than the rest of the field - one of them this guy's - Richard Lawler.  You can't see from the angle I've taken this pic at how much he has, but it's at least 80k.

While the Main Event is chugging along, some last minute satellites for the side event are just coming to a close.

If you're wondering why they're attracting more viewers than a Tyson Lewis fight, then that's because they're not your normal satellites.

According to RED-DOG...

10 players, 1 chip, no standard blinds, first to go has to go all-in.

Sounds like a hoot!
