Table Secret English Player

Trevor McGoona    75,000
Sean Clery            90,000
Scott Byron         445,000
Kieran Small           64,000
James Lee            100,000
Keith Cummins       320,000
Le                   180,000
Mike Healy            175,000

Mr. Le is from Manchester!  He's now my pick, along with Colette Murphy and Scott Byron, both of whom have more tournament experience than most of the rest of them.

Le is down to 110k after doubling up short stack Sean Kleary with K-Ts vs. Q-Q.

And here pictured is Le, who seems to have a hard time staying sat down.  He kept asking me where the coffee guy had disappeared to.  Do you think the two things might be linked somehow?

Trevor McGoona finishes in 16th place -

It was a sneaky limp-re-raise from the small blind Mike Healy which got big blind Trevor to call all-in with his eventually.  He was up against .
Flop:
Turn:   "Come on diamond!"  shouts Trevor
River:    "F** it."

But people seem to be getting over their shouty elimination frustration quickly, and there were handshakes all round.

Unexpected reprieve for Le News Now -

He'd dwindled a bit, and got it all in pushing on a Two Diamonds three diamonds flop.  The player who'd presumably raised and been called preflop was Scott Byron, who had against 's .  Not looking good.

Turn:    "Ace!  Six!"  Shouts Le
River:    Just like he asked for.  Clearly excited by the smiling of Lady Luck upon him, he then rather mysteriously shouts, "F** that Shit!"  Inexplicable.

On the other table, Colette Murphy raised preflop to 25k (the blinds are now 4k/8k ante 500).  She's called by small blind Ciaran Burke.
Flop:  three diamonds .  Ciaran checks and she takes her time checking too, giving him a bit of a stare.
Turn:  .  Ciaran bets out 30k.  Colette moves in sharpish, and he releases without too much of a think.  She's up to 150k now.

Mike Healey has dropped down to 210k after paying off an 80k (well, it looked like 80k) River bet from Scott Byron on a board of two spades Two Clubs .

Byron showed three clubs for the nut flush, Healey mucked.

Le finishes in 14th place, winning €5,000

He didn't look like he was going to sit quietly for very long, and pretty soon he was all in preflop with against Jens Klaning's

Flop:  ..but you know from the title of this post that this doesn't hold...
Turn:
River:  Not a Ten

And that really is the end of the English players.  I think.
