And we've lost another!
This time it's C Kennedy, who qualified for an impressive €10.
He had 9-8 on an 8-7-T Flop, but was called by a T-6 which held up.
He received a nice round of applause for his achievements, himself adding, "Not bad for 10 Euros I guess."

Nope, €10 satellite from what I understand. I'd say that was pretty good going.
ps. It's 'being', not 'been' in 'been pedantic'.

ah but I meant been as in the past:
Been (Been) (?).
[OE. beon, ben, bin, p. p. of been, beon, to be. See Be.]
The past participle of Be. In old authors it is also the pr. tense plural of
lol, I'll never get away with that...
Anyhow, to the man who turned €10e into €?,000, well done!

Double up for James Lee - 75,000 is looking a bit short at this point, and he took a shot with
, up against
.
The board came out
... with an anticlimactic (i.e. not a spectacular outdraw)
on the river. Up to 160k.

Eliminationtastic last ten minutes -
12th place finisher (€7,000) was Mike Healy
, who flopped bottom pair with his A4 and made a bit of a move into a non-folding pair of Tens...
11th place went to Sean Clery (€8,000)
, when the
of Keith Cummins stayed good against his overcards (
).
So we're hand for hand....

A big oooooooooooh from the far end of the room leads the Beagle to race over notepad in hand.
All the chips are in the middle (well, all of Stewart Samuel's anyhow) with Collette Murphy leading the way (just) with
vs
.
The
look safe, and so does the
Turn, but the
River produces an aaaaaaaaaaah to follow the initial ooooooooooh.
Collette looks gutted, Stewart seems apologetic with hands on head (although he has new reason to be) and we still have 11.
As a result of that hit, Collette is now down to 155k.
