That's a tricky one, and ultimately my decision would be based on my opinion of my opponent.

Unless he's slow playing AA pre-flop, what can he have that beats you?

A different set is unlikely (as you have one 3 and one 5) and it's most unlikely he has a 2. Two pair is unlikely too.

He could well have a flush draw or, more likely, a big ace and is protecting against the flush.

If I rated him highly, I'd fold to his set of aces. Otherwise I'd push against his AK. Smiley

Probably push (with my eyes shut)!

2 small pair are very vulnerable, particularly on a board that has multiple draws.

If OOP I would have bet out about half the pot on the flop.
If I get raised then I would make a strong reraise and be happy if that takes it down.

If I just get called, unless I am fairly certain I am beat would then make a strong bet on the turn.

Jak.

Could he have Ax of hearts? It's a hand he would play strong, a set is also possible, personally i would 3 bet the flop.

I dont think you can get away when he is that short but i still think 3 betting the flop is a good idea.
