Double up for Peter Roche, whose towers had crumbled ever so slightly - we think his neighbour, whose stack was so big he was still left with 28k+ after doubling Peter to over 45k, is Eric Lindberg...

Anyway, I saw Peter's chips being counted out by the dealer in preparation for matching them, and his hand was vs. the of Big-stack.  We all can see what happened there - the board was Two Clubs .

Then a really odd one for Peter Eichhardt and, if the seating chart can still be relied upon (sorry for lack of prior knowledge of a lot of these guys) Espen Saltnes.  I'll call him 'Seat One.'  Anyway, Peter had raised preflop to 1,500, called somewhere in mid position, before Seat One pushed all-in for a little less than 10k.  Think, then call from Peter, run away from caller.  Reluctant to show his hand, Seat One asked, "You have a pair?" before revealing his .  "I haven't got much either," said Peter, showing .
Flop:    so far so good for the all-in
Turn:
River:    Chop.  They both get 750 from the preflop folder, though.

Although online superstar, Betrand 'ElkY' Grospeiller' (click here to read his blonde interview), is the central piece of this photo, the hand in question actually occured between the two chaps either side (seat 1 may well be Jonas Torrang) which involved a 2k, 4k all-in fold war on a raggy flop, the fellow on the right finally taking down the pot.

Great updates guys.

Thanks Matt - I'll be honest and say this isn't the easiest EPT in the pack (sellout before all you disorganised UK players could get around to buying yourselves in) but they've done their best to make it comfy and easy for us.  The listing of players by table has turned the impossible into the improbable...quite enjoying it actually.

Come on Mr Phillips good luck

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Time to put names and chip counts to actual faces.

First up is this chap, Marco Lucidi, who has been dominating Xuyen Pham's former table along with chip leader and American online qualifier, Brent Wheeler.

Marco, who one can only assume is Italian in origin, is currently on 38,125.
