Last night there was a 27 entrant last longer competition for £200 each organised by Neil " there's two flies climbing that wall, I'll have £5 on the one on the left" Channing

Channing, with a quarter of the average stack, has just negotiated a five way chop of this for £1,200 each with the four remaining players apart from himself!  Cheesy

lol nice!

Terry Mason limps utg, Rookie raises to 4.6k from the button, the blinds pass, Mason calls.

Flop:

Mason bets 3.5k (certainly an odd amount for a 12k pot) Rookie raises to 10k. Mason passes.

Rookie tells me he had T-7.

We're now down to 3 tables. Chip counts and photos to follow.

Rookie going strong..nice!...shows you that folding pocket Q's preflop twice on day one isn't always a bad thing...keep it up Jnr.

James Browning and Neil Channing are both OUT. They both pushed (on seperate tables) with A8 and ran into a pair of Queens and Deuces respectively.

Here are our remaining tables prior to some of the exits.

We are now on a break, Joe Grech raised from the small blind, but was set all-in by the big blind and passed his A-J face up and was shown Tens.
