were you in any way involved with the programme ? or involved with anyone who was involved with the programme ?

If you say involved often enough it somehow becomes hard to understand

try and decipher the question.

So you think that anyone who doesn't share your minority opinion must have some sort of agenda?

The only connection whatsoever between myself and the programme was that they happened to film part of it in a bookies where I won a lot of money.

As I've said before any programme about gambling that doesn't deliberately set out to tarnish someone is a good one in my opinion.

I can understand that some might not like the style of the presenter - but in comparison to most "journalists" who normally make such progs I'm sure even you would agree that (although in your opinion others might have done it better) this kind of presenter was a better choice.

I've just watched it and I enjoyed it too. I thought it showed that gambling can be fun and profitable and was therefore different to many shows that are just trying to show gambling and gamblers in a bad light.

The presenter seemed OK and he genuinely felt the buzz when his horse almost won and felt the disappointment when he had made a bad bet on the table tennis, these are all emotions that us gamblers have gone thru day after day so I thought he captured gambling in the right way.

I'm looking forward to tonights show

Not at all mate, just wondered.

He tarnished everyone who considers themselves a gambler IMO.

It wasnt necessarily the style of the presenter that made the show garbage, more the content.

Like i said, i will have another look tonight and hope that the content improves, and as tonights show is billed as a "poker episode"  im looking forward to it.

No need to wait for a re-run, I will summarise for you.

Sikh gent decides to have a gamble with 7k ...so he has a little punt on the dogs, a little punt on the horses, roulette etc... then he gets into the proper side of gambling and walks into a swimming pool fully clothed (including turban) for a bet, then plays a bloke who had breast implants (for a bet) at table tennis .... not sure how much he had left at the end of the programme because I had long lost the will to live by then.

Apparantly the next show has footage of a Rob Yong home game ... lets hope the narrative does it justice.

Cheers

Yes, but what he was referring to was the other players' analysis of how he (Hardeep) played his cards.
