270/5 with 3 overs to go and up against 2 dud bowlers.  300 is a possibility.

27 off the last 2 overs and I've hit 346-4 off my 50 overs. Very happy with that!

297/5 with 4 players hitting 50's.  Not a bad total methinks, just need the bowlers to perform, although I forgot to slect my 3 new signings.

Well my 1st innings at bat is over.

Result so far-

End of Over 50: 313-5, runrate=6.26

Not bad so far. 2 x Half Centuries, and a century hitter as well. I didn't Bongo Bok him.

Gotta drive up to Blackpool now so will have to check if I can outbowl them later. Best of luck to you all.

Great recovery 18/3 to this

End of Over 22: 115-4, runrate=5.23, reqrunrate=3.54 (213-10)
Pulis 1-0-21-0
Lovell* 40 (61 balls)
Shadlock 24 (12 balls)

Last Wicket: Sam b. Vosloo 37 (FOW: 85/4)

21.6 4 Pulis to Shadlock
He waits on it and then drives well through the covers.
21.5 1 Pulis to Lovell
'Yep' barks the batsman as he drives this down to long off for a quick single.
21.4 1 Pulis to Shadlock
Pulis won’t be happy, poor fielding lets the batting side steal a single.
21.3 6 Pulis to Shadlock
Whack! Shadlock backs away and hammers it straight down the ground, clearing the fence with ease.
21.2 4 Pulis to Shadlock
He hit that so hard that it's gone right through the advertising board.
21.2 wd Pulis to Shadlock
Pulis sees Shadlock coming down the wicket and fires it down the leg side. Called wide by the umpire.
21.1 4 Pulis to Shadlock
One, two, three bounces and the ball slams into the boundary boards for four runs.

I'm ticking along nicely, just wish my bowlers would remember how to take wickets in the first 30 overs.

I came back from being 4 for 2 last week to post a total of > 300, which I was happy about.

Just be aware that each batter prefers to bat in a certain place, i.e. some will do rubbish as openers but good in the middle order and vice versa so a bit of experimentation can get the best from them. Same thing with the aggression levels.

I've managed to restrict them to 110/3 after 25overs.  Req rate now 7.52.  Going nicely so far
