End of Over 32: 168-0, runrate=5.25 Gould 6-0-32-0 Lawrence* 79 (112 balls) Falken 85 (82 balls) i am quite happy if i can keep him to under 300 then i will have succeeded in keeping the net RR reasonable

i reckon this guy would struggle against a reasonable balanced team he really only has 1 batsman and a couple of bowlers the reat of the team isnt much use
and my weak bowling attack have managed to keep him down to 96 from 94 balls
king jon can i borrow one of your bowlers then it would even the game up

Matt, Iron, it's the weather - partially cloudy and humid, never easy to bat in that! Which is why I made a guess that they would score < 300...
End of Over 38: 188-3, runrate=4.95
Not too shabby, shame Disley just got out on the next ball though (having just scored 100...).
I need Glazier to score more than 3 today (He's mid respectable!) and hang around with Clarke... ONE TIME!

the guys RR is starting to fall as we aproach 40 overs does he have a stamina problem
my bowlers are trying to take wickets so maybe we can keep them in and keep the rr down due to his stamina
or maybe they are saving up for the last 10 overs hitting me all over the ground

Bazza - ouch. Keep going Ironside! I'm quite pleased. Dropped the skipper to six in the order last week and he finally scored runs then and is doing the same again this week. Also brought back the guy I dropped at the start of the season and tried him on defensive orders. He got 22 last week so I gave him another go this week and he's just got out, after a career-best score of 75 203-5 off 38 and the first of my three all-rounders is in to bat. Anything above 250 and I think I'm odds-on to win today.

On another note Karthikeyan became the first player to score 1000 runs for my team today, promptly followed up in the same match by Disley, who has now overtaken him as my record run scorer.
I don't keep track of such things - just looked at my club records page last night!

knew i would be bokking myself with the earlier post!! 40.1 W Dickinson to Abel Plumb, line and sinker. You won't see an easier decision today! End of Over 40: 252-1, runrate=6.30 Scriven 10-0-69-0 Abel* 117 (110 balls) Kirkland 126 (124 balls) Last Wicket: Tortoishell c. Yorke b. Dickinson 1 (FOW: 2/1) Still, 117 is not too shabby and the 250 partnership is a record for me. Hopefully i still wont get to find out if my monkey scout was correct in his assessment of my record purchase all rounder!!

I guess my usual end of innings collapse though would scupper that!! 42.4 W Dickinson to Kirkland Acrobatic catch from Barnard there! End of Over 43: 273-3, runrate=6.35 Dickinson 7-0-42-3 Kenny* 14 (8 balls) Mercer 1 (1 balls) Last Wicket: Kirkland c. Barnard b. Dickinson 132 (FOW: 271/3) I guess i will get to see if my all rounders knows which end of the bat to hold!!
