I guess my usual end of innings collapse though would scupper that!!

Like I'm having now... I'm so looking forward to the couple of pops that will mean my all-rounder is ready to bowl and shorten my tail!

75 all out.

Oppo is currently 39-1 after 9 overs.

I think I've got him on the back foot now.

Walcott 10-0-53-0
Gould 10-0-52-0
Robson 10-0-48-1

End of Over 47: 264-2, runrate=5.62

they are really upping the rate with 2 fresh batsmen in

still hoping to restrict him to under 300

both his wickets fell to my trainees

i do sometimes wonder seriously how "random" this is, i think they use the same machine pokerstars do.....

49.1 W Hewitt to Hagan
Nicks that one to Burnell, who holds onto a tight catch.

End of Over 49: 312-7, runrate=6.37
Dickinson 10-0-57-7
Hagan* 1 (1 balls)
Malcolm 3 (3 balls)

Last Wicket: Clare c. Scriven b. Dickinson 0 (FOW: 311/7)

48.6 1 Dickinson to Hagan
On the toes, played down to mid wicket as the fielder runs in from the boundary.
48.5 W Dickinson to Clare
That one's coming down with snow on it, and held magnificently by Scriven. Dickinson is delighted with that catch and mobs Scriven.
48.4 W Dickinson to Mills
What a catch! Theakston plucked that one-handed from in front of a spectator.
48.3 W Dickinson to Mercer
That is pretty conclusive! Through the gate and Mercer's got the death rattle ringing in his ears as he makes his way back to the pavilion.

End of Over 50: 351-1, runrate=7.02

Well their innings is finally over.

Things looking good. Just hope i can bat for a while rather than the usual 12 OVers when chasing any total.

49.6 W Sutton to Mitchell
Mitchell has gone for the big hit. There's a thick edge! Calvert has caught it!
49.5 W Sutton to Swales
Misjudged the line to a straight delivery and loses the off stump which nearly takes out Gradi behind the wicket!
49.4 W Sutton to Mcaliskey
The most wonderful looking cover drive by Mcaliskey... but he missed the ball completely... OUT!

288 all out Smiley  I don't mind them bowling me out on the last delivery lol

Sayce has whipped those bails off in the blink of an eye! No need for the third umpire, he was out by a mile!

GET IN THERE

Zia 10-0-61-0
End of Over 50: 287-3, runrate=5.74
Tillen 10-0-72-2

i am very impressed, tillen went for alot but he is a 17 trainee RM who i had opening the bowling

0.3 W Sabata to Barraclough
Barraclough pulls out the 1 wood and goes for the big drive. Unfortunately for him he hasn't made the ladies' tee and is caught at mid off by Disley. Out.

Good start!

bowled my oppo's out in the 50th over for 250.  my top spinner is performing consistently well.....Anton 9-0-32-6 .  would be nice if my pace bowlers were performing at the same level.

confident we can get close to this score so long as we dont lose early wickets.

am currently tied for 3rd place in the league with my opponents , although they have an inferior run rate.  losing would be a major setback.

Well, I managed to skittle out 4 of his team before he reached his target.

Nice early finish.  Hopefully they'll last a bit longer on Sunday.

Not the best start then...

7.3 W Mitchell to Elligon
Brilliant bowling. Clean through and out.
7.2 1 Mitchell to Gradi
Forward, stroked out to the region of deep mid wicket.
7.1 4 Mitchell to Gradi
Nice shot, they'll get three here…oh terrible throw to Virgo and they'll run an extra one.

End of Over 7: 39-2, runrate=5.57, reqrunrate=5.81 (288-10)
Swales 4-0-23-2
Gradi* 19 (18 balls)
Elligon 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Nicol b. Swales 0 (FOW: 39/2)

6.6 W Swales to Nicol
That hit the wickets so hard the bails went for four; Out!
6.5 . Swales to Nicol
Attempted on drive as the ball drifted down leg but Nicol misjudged the line and it goes straight through to Virgo.
6.4 W Swales to Wyman
Mcaliskey must have superglue on his hands to be able to hold onto that one. Magnifique!
