The player ijn question is a regular at these tables but I don't really rate him as have seen him make somke bad bad calls with just overpairs, however I am assuming he is a winning player unless he has deep pockets.

Hmmm a couple of things for me;

1 I don't tend to call this pre-flop with this hand I hate hands like this.

2; He's probably made his set or has the FD (and with the way he's bet pre-flop and your description of him and his over pairs I am much more likely to take him for Aces with the nut flush draw or something similar). However you have plenty non-flush outs. You are ofcourse open ended and have the boat which could hit. I would call and be pretty confident against this particular player that if the flush doesn't hit I'd be ahead.

He would have to have a totally freaky hand like AsAx9s9x for you to be a big dog.  He more likely has the AA with spades and a srt8 draw of some kind - hopefully a gutshot.  Its quite close, but I dont think you can fold - only thing is whether you want to call the flop and fold on a spade turn.

Flat-call the flop at best...You only have 3 nut outs. He could have something hideous like

I'm no omaha expert but is that not a really shitty starting hand?

I stuck him all in and he had Ah the odds were as close to 50/50 as you are gonna get.

Whatigeneral consensus here that I call then shove on non threatening turn or just stick them in??  Note, I doubt he will fold on the turn but maybe gives me a chance to get away on turn?
