Hi
I found a new pokersite with a decent signupbonus so I f
thought I'd try it out..
A friend owed me $150 so I deposited with his NETELLER..
When I was done I wanted to cash out, and this is what it says on their homepage:
"Cash-Outs to a NETELLER account are usually funded in 1 to 3 business days.
Please be advised that any transaction you make now will be reflected on the NETELLER account you used to make your previous transaction."
SOO, I deposited $20 with my own NETELLER..and then I made a withdrawal of $330 or so. I got $200 to my account..When i e-mailed the support they said that they sent $130 to the other NETELLER#. WTF!?
My friend closed his # and don't want to open it again..(personal reasons).
I e-mailed the support again, and they said I could request a reversal of the money at NETELLERs support. So I did. It got accepted. 8 days later I e-mail hollywoodpoker again, what do they say?
"I'm sorry you have to request a reversal at NETELLER"..done that already, but thanks. Today I got this (after I sent them an angry e-mail saying I ALREADY CONTACTED NETELLER YOU STUPID *****..or something like that):
"I would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused, however, before we
proceed further, we would appreciate if you could provide us with the
information below, we need this information to trace the transaction which was
sent by Neteller to us, thank you for your kind understanding and patience in
this matter.
1. Amount of fund which was sent.
2. Account number for Neteller account which has been closed.
3. Transaction ID or NT code ( can be obtain by contacting Neteller support)"
And this has taken about 3 weeks. And now they're almost saying that they've lost my money. Interesting. And I got a nice compensation too, a $2.20 SnG-token. How nice of you.
Sure, it's ony $130 but I don't think it's OK to loose customers money or send them to the wrong account.
Hollywoodpoker sent my cashout to the wrong NETELLER account. And I'm probably not getting it back..So, don't deposit money here..
Thanks
(Yes, I'm going to post this in every forum that I find..Hopefully someone from HP reads it..!)

Seems standard anti-fraud to me, you have to cash out the amount you deposited to the deposit method....

You deposited the majority of your money using one Neteller account, then wanted to withdraw your money to a different account. This looks dodgy right from the off.
The first Neteller account was closed and you don't say why - again this appears dodgy.

They sent the cashout to exactly the two accounts used to deposit - they didn't squirt it into thin air.
One more thing, as someone who deals with customer service at a poker room, if you send a mail which says 'YOU STUPID *****' you will find things suddenly take an awful lot longer to get done.

A colourful and energetic review of the e-mails a disgruntled neteller customer had exchanged with their support.

The video was priceless, an angry customer who kept getting 'cheers' replies. One of the best, must be elsewhere.
I'm sorry about what happened with Net teller. If I were them I would have...done exactly the same thing.
1) From their perspective, it could easily be flagged up as fraud or theft or money laundering. Money comes from one account, is returned to a new account plus the original account, now customer screaming cos seemingly cannot get access to money in old account...hmmm, why not. Not a bad idea to wash hands of it and let netteller deal.
2) why can't you just get it off your mate?

On a related note, I swapped one Neteller account for a new one (pounds for dollars), and wanted to cash out from pokerstars to the new one, even though I'd deposited from the old one - and naturally Stars wanted to make my cash out to the one that I'd used to deposit, that no longer existed.
Still wit me?
One email to Stars support and it was done.
