Just spoke to Raj, he basically said that last time the prize structure was too top heavy (it was 40% and 20%)last time and that making it 35% and 15% was them trying to flatten it out due to listening to their customers. He also said that the only complaints they had had this week were over the structure and that they would listen to these for future reference in their next festival/tournament.

Matt, who has another kid on the way (that'll be four, greedy bugger), is down to 12k after running two pair into trips (A-J vs. 5-5 on an A-J-5 Flop).
The same player, who Matt doesn't rate highly (I think the word fish may have cropped up - cough), took massive pot off Martyn Cavanagh, calling his Q-Q down ALL the way, only to spike a gutshot on the River. As a result, the once chipped up Martyn is also down to 12k.

Toothpick chewing Mick McCool has just dented Jim Reid.
Board =
Mick bets 1.6k, Jim calls.
River =
Mick bets 2.2k, Jim calls again, albeit after a brief dwell.
Mick takes down a nice pot with A-3o.

Nice tidy fold from Michael Greco.
Three-handed with Iwan Jones (small blind), Dave Clayton (big blind) and Michael Greco (trap 2) all reaching the River of a
board.
With 2.2k in the pot, Iwan checked, Dave bet 600, Michael made it 1,600, Iwan folded, Dave moved all-in for 8,225 and Michael folded
for bottom full house.
Dave revealed his hand to his next door neighbour before mucking, but Chris Gavriel asked for them to be turned over.
Nice fold from the Grecster.

Matey passes his
face up.
Nick shows

Send me your details and I'll personally guarantee your termination. The deletion of your account gives me permanent release from the cage and a year's supply of doggy biscuits to boot.
