Well, I know this guy, but only from his alias on Ladbrokes, which is Greekfish (anyone else know that name?)
This is the first time I've seen him in person, but I've played a few cash hands against him on the Omaha Hi-Lo tables. Quite a loose player and very emotionally charged, but whether this translates into the live scene is yet to be seen.
Anyhow, his real name is Andrew Andreou (if you can believe that) and he's on a rather chunky 21,225.
I saw him the other day and I was dying to get some clippers to sort out that bloody mullett!!
Lol, I was going to mention that but changed my mind last minute just in case he is psychotic.

Chris Gavriel moves in with A-K and doubles up off Mick Fletcher's Q-Q.
5-K-9-A-8 board means Gavriel is now over 10k.
Mick, meanwhile, still has about a billion.

Julian almost doubled up...but didn't. He had A-T vs A-8 but the board came with a 7-7-J-Q-x meaning he had to split.

Julian Thew is OUT. In fact, I was talking to him as he nonchalently raised it up to 800 pre-flop.
"He's showing off now because you're watching, snoops," commented Praz Bansi.
All folded except a reluctant big blind (Keith Swayne) who made a sneaky smooth call with Aces.
Keith checked the
Flop, Julian moved in for 3,125 and Keith called.
Julian showed
, but the flush didn't come into fruition.
"Nice game, good luck, see you next week," said Julian casually.
Just another day at the office, I guess.

I won't pry, what you and Dave do behind closed doors is your own business.

I was talking to Julian about his latest addition and somehow we got onto the topic of courting and how long after the event it was deemed acceptable.
"When she tells me," he answered. "The flag in the garden will go up when I get the green light."

On the board of
, Rebbeca Nielson bets 8k into an 11k pot, Nick Slade dwells for ages saying, "Either you've got a monster, or we've got the same hand..."
He calls with

He seems pretty chuffed.

Ian Fraser -- 6,250
Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I believe Ian is the first ever man to win two UK televised events, probably taking a near million squid in the process.

And here's Keith Swayne (15,400), who seems to be involved in every hand I've reported from that table. I think Matt Tyler even called him 'Dick Turpin'.

This, I believe, is one of the local lasses, Rebecca Nielsen, with 5,725 in chips.

Andrew Andriou is fun to watch though seems to suffer from lalochezia, , there's a button raise to 900 on his big blind and he looks at his card, "Corrr...first one is awful...." He then looks at the second one and decides to call claiming, "I'm going to outplay you."
Flop:
Check from Andrew, check from the button, Andrew looks shocked.
Turn:
Andrew says,"I'm going to bet 500 to find out where I am." Button makes it 2k. Andrew says, "I'll call that that," and duly does.
River:
Andrew checks, button bets 4k, Andrew insta-calls saying, "I've got a pair."
Button shows
for the nuts. A little bit of f-ing and blinding from Andrew.
