One last word - Billy just came backstage and tried to buy the press all a drink.  Two thirds of us have scarpered already, so he tried to leave us money.  Like gentlemen (or idiots) we all refused, but he gets extra marks for not just running off to bathe in his money, and remembering the little guys with the notebooks.

Cheers!

Anyone know who he is??

Was pleased to see Billy the Kid did well, I was sat with Jamie watching and noticed he was chuffed just to make the final so coming 2nd he must be over the moon.

Well played to both him and Jerome. Make sure you join the 3rd leg of this great tour in Cardiff!!!

Well done kids great result for Jerome. Real key hand for me is Des laying down the J5 on that board.....not sure about that.
Still, cracking updates as ever.

I limped which looked unusual so it looked like i had a strong hand. I checked a flop of AKJ and when the 5 has come ive re-raised allin. Think J5 looks good now? I knew he would fold which is why i pushed, he doesnt have Q10 because he would bet on flop or at least raise on the turn.

Ladies and gentlemen, will you please put your hands together and join me in thanking Blue Sq for this amazing concept. A 4 day event with added money and a televised final table gives everyone something extra to play for, and online satellites give everyone a chance to play.

Thanks also to everyone at Grosvenor Walsall for all their hard work in hosting this superb event, Grosvenor casino's have been he life-blood of poker in the UK for many years, where would we be without them?

Last but not least, let's hear it for the blonde updaters. Come on guys, be honest, how good was that? We are all so privileged to have such dedicated, talented people bringing the big games to our small screens. Very well done
