Its the 2nd hand of the tournie...

The first hand u dragged in a 3k pot (starting stack 7500 starting blinds 25/50) with K6 in the BB and a KK47Q board.

2nd hand...

folds to MP1 who limps for 50 MP3 limps and the button limps... you make it 250 from the SB with

MP1 and MP3 call

Pot 800

Board Two Clubs

I lead out for 700 and MP 1 makes it 2100 ... MP3 passes and its back to yourself. MP3 has the full 7500 stack.

Our move?

My first instinct is to push to protect my hand and for value. Whether at this level we get called by a worse hand is an interesting question and unfortunately we have no read as it is so early.

I can't see a fold maybe a flat call and re assess the turn. Interesting situation.

You have lots of chips and its early in the competition. He has position and will have on later streets. You have to assume player knows you have a big pp and that he wouldnt play 88/1010 like this. I give him credit for a set and fold. You have a stack, you dont want to risk it in this type of situation unless opponent is loose.
But maybe im playing like a pussy.

Cos your back home at your PC when you should be still in the tourney.

I don't like folding but I'm going to - like Alex said it's early in the tourney and if he's making a move on you with a flush draw - good luck to him.  If I think the player is really useless I might call, but I don't see how you can draw that conclusion this early.

Well I can fold QQ on low flops

Id done it here : http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=5794.0

However on that safe board I don't see why he was trying to get shot of me with the flop 3-bet. So I shoved... I did think for a while of passing but maybe im not good enough to do that yet...

He had 77.

If you think he's an idiot he might have A7 and you can push but I think he's betting too strongly to suggest he has anything other than a set. Preflop he has limp/called your raise, you are representing the overpair and he is still raising.  Hard one to get away from, Bandit got hammered in a and exactly like this about 5 hands into a freezeout at the stanley not so long ago.
