right. 100k guaranteed on mansion. avg. stack 4k (starting stack 2.5k) i'm on 4.1k. Blinds at 100/200

i'm on the cutoff.

i've got

mid position (on about 6-7k) min raises

I call (oppinions on this?)

BB calls.

Flop: As

BB checks, as does initial raiser.

I check along (I think this was an error)

turn brings

BB bets 800 (into a 1300 pot)

Your move?

A huge range of hands, a lot of which beat you.

I honestly thought I's ahead here, I thought I had it all worked out.
I should have mentioned in the post that i'd just seen this guy get half his chips in pre flop with ace rag in early position, cos that had a bearing on my play.

I thought he'd have bet an ace on the flop unless he had a hi spade with it. since he didn't reraise pre flop I ruled that out. I also figured he'd have bet a low flush, since he wouldn't want to get out drawn. So i thought he prob didn't have that.  Similarly I thought he'd bet a flopped 2 pair or set. The only thing I thought I's losing to was a flopped hi(ish) flush or a two pair hit on the turn.

All this over analasys, combined with his erratic image led me to push my chips in, honestly believing I's ahead.

He'd taken a risk on the flop and checked a low flush, so that sent me packing.

why call a min raise with such a dangerous hand at such a key point in the tournament? costs nothing to fold. but once you're there.. well. no. it's still a pass. thats not the board you want with that hand. the only time you're beating the BB is if he's testing the water or semi-bluffing. did the min-raiser fold btw? you dont state..

yeah, min-raiser folded. I take your point pre-flop. I almost folded it, but decided to see a flop.
As for the flop, I just really thought I had this one worked out, but obviously didn't.

InstaPass......

Its going to risk too much of your stack to:

a) call him down (+what if u flat call + a spade rivers)
b) r/r him on the turn (what if he calls/pushes)
