We hear that there may not have been the full 250 players present today - I noticed quite a few playerless chip stacks and I think the total may have been 241.  Will the extra nine play tomorrow or will the field be short by a table or so?  Who can say... tune in tomorrow for the thrilling conclusion...

El Blondie is also OUT, having been hovering around the starting stack, he was getting shorter and limped on the button with after utg limped. The big blind checked and the flop came a likable . Sadly the big blind was holding ....

Andreas Hagen has eliminated a scandieboy on his table:

He called a raise from the blinds and the flop came .

Both checked before Hagen check/raised scandieboy's 1200 turn bet to 2700 when the came only to have the latter push for another 5,150. Hagen really didn't like the 3-bet and called the extra 5k (which he could well afford) saying, "Show me Jacks..."

Instead he was shown the which was drawing dead to Hagen's and the river was academic.

An exercise in river control for Pab now, who got into a hand with Bradley Cowling** - they saw a flop of and Pab bet out 1,500, got minraised and called.
Turn:    This time Pab check-called the 1,500 bet.  If you're wondering what was going on here, you're not the only one...
River:    Pab checked again and Bradley moved in for his remaining 3,100.  Pab squirmed for a little while, before eventually passing, showing the .

His opponent showed him the mighty-on-the-river ...  Pab said he passed the J-7 of hearts which he felt suddenly was no good at all on the river.

Short stacked as the blinds get heavier, he made a stand with and ended up racing A-K (of Emo Wim, I've been informed).  Two Aces on the flop made it look unlikely that he would survive that confrontation, and indeed the APAT Qualifier has left the tourney.  He looked like he was suffering a bit of that post-knockout adrenaline comedown, but it looks like he's also greatly enjoyed the EPT experience.

Iwan Jones' chip stack is looking ropey after a losing confrontation with Tens against AQ (having Morten Erlandsen on the button on his blind can't be the easiest situation to manoeuvre in).  Just now he raised on the button and found a non-believer in small blind Jim Kerrigan.
Flop:    Must have gone check-check
Turn:    Now Jim bets out 1,500 and Iwan folds, showing .  Jim sheepishly reveals the .

"He didn't believe me raising on the button," says Iwan, correctly.

Blinds are now 200/400 with a 50 ante, so with it being almost 1k a round the short stacks like Elky (3k) better start getting a move on.

Yes, indeed.  He has 22,800, comfortably stacked, but not comfortably positioned - look how he's sat (in order) between:
Henning Granstad, Mark Bartlog, James Feeney, Gary, Torstein Iversen, Pab 

He looked confused when I told him I knew who he was because Cornwall was watching.
