Enchantment? Enchantment!

Barney Boatman is gone, a lot of the damage was done apparently when held two pair of Kings and Queens, but his opponent had a set of aces. He then had against A-K and flopped a pair but Big Slick hit runner runner flush. Not sure where the money went in there.

We thought Ben Grundy had gone too, but in fact he'd been moved into Barney's seat, no major stack swings either way for him.

More definite is that Ram Vaswani is OUT. Recounted to me by one of the Ladbrokes guys, a guy sitting to Ram's right raised to 300 and Ram made it 1100 from the CO, everyone else passed and the original raiser called, and then check called Ram's 1800 bet on the Two Diamonds three clubs board. He then checked to Ram when the came on the turn and Ram pushed and was instantly called. Ram was holding A-5 and was drawing pretty slim against his opponents pocket Threes, and indeed no four came on the river.

Ok, Jen is on chippy count alert. Are there any people we've not really mentioned so far that you would like us to keep an eye on?

Just spoke to Womble - he's on just over 9,000. Said he might as well not have played a hand yet. He did play a few though, including one where he bluffed a few chips off to Brigitte Johansson.

I have a good view of Womble's table from where I'm set up in the gallery overlooking the tournament area so will keep you posted if I see anything or his chips stack changes significantly.

Hello can u give a GL to Tonio(21) who is playing today.
All the member of teh "Dijon Poker Tean"  wish him a big s**t for this fisrt big tournement.
For a picture from him visit www.dijonpoker.fr  "Membres/les membres" and Tonio is the "vice tresorier".

Here's your man - sat next to Womble.  Real name Antoine Boudat (Tonio, not Womble), we think - thanks to Benjamin Gallen who, being French, is the best source of such information.

Is that really Womble, or a cardboard cut-out? Not much sign of life there.

I must say, Jen is on tremendous wordy-form today. As Floppy noted, it must be the pretzels. WTF ARE pretzels?

In other news, they brought the buffet out early and a lot of people were tucking in during the break. Womble's plan of action is to play a few more hands then nip out to tuck in while there's no queues. By play a few hands I assume he means pass a few hands...

Stop Press

Womble plays a hand!  He raised his big blind when there were two limpers and took down the pot.

You think he has started charging limpers tax this early?

I think he may have had a hand actually raab. Keep me in touch as this is the first time ever I'm sweating a % in him instead of the other way round lol.

Womble's big blind again. There's a mid position raiser. Womble gives it up.

you aint seen womble when hes hungry raab, he could inhale a cow inside 30 seconds when hes starving. Give us details when he plays a hand rather than having a womble EPT thread lol. My guess would be he may play a total of 6 hands in the rest of the day.
