Mickey Wernick is on around 20k

Just saw Michael Greco lose a fair few chips.

Paul Gourlay is running well, on circa 25k.

Fantabulous updates guys- Please send my best wishes to Pi slade and Pj Gourlay and updates on them both when u can please and thankyou x

Funnily enough I've just got hands involving both of them. PI Slade called a raise in the big blind and check/raised the CO's 1500 bet on a board to 3600. CO showed before passing, Nick shows .

Elsewhere Paul bet 2000 on a two spades board and was check/raised by the scandie to 4,125 and passed. We have 10 more minutes at this level (150/300/25) before it becomes 200/400/50, meaning it's 1k a round and people start getting very loose. Or if you're a scandie, nothing changes.

William Thorssen, 3rd at the EPT in Dublin, is sitting at a side table looking grumpy. So I think he might well be out.

Christer Johansen just flopped a Royal Flush, couldn't really get paid that much, but did take out a short stack who had pushed preflop.

I'm guessing a fair few will come over for the Monte Carlo Grand Final, it should be interesting to see how they fare against each other.

The blinds are now 200/400 with a 50 running ante.

They have not updated the number of players left for a while but its definitely less than teh 151 they are currently showing on the screens.

Action shot of PI Slade collecting some chips.  His table, it has to be said, has one of the higher player to complaint ratios in the room.  Just now a player made a contentious one-chip raise on the button which Nick thought should have been a call.  No, it went as a min raise - Nick called from the big blind.  The flop came down and the button checked out of turn.  Nick bet 900 or so (an angry little pile of black chips) and the button promptly pushed in.  A minimum whinge and he passed.

He still has 17,800.

Mickey has just won a big pot. Can't see the hand from here but he punched the air in my direction after the hand, so it must be a good one. Will try to get some details.
