Im up £310 at the moment. Had less winners than usual though. Just the couple i have found have been big prices.

Paddy Power have impressed me today. Credited my account with a free £10 bet for no reason and theyre offering a fantastic (imo) money back special on all 6 races where if your horse comes 2nd to the favourite then you get your money back.

So ive obv gone large on Exotic Dancer for the Gold Cup. Struggling to see how itll be beaten by anything other than Kauto (so i cant lose?  )

I have £3 (woweee, lol) on State of Play from October. But the price is 46-1! so ill be happy if that comes home also.

Other fancies:

2.00 Degas Art

3.15 Exotic Dancer/Monkerhostin EW at an interesting price

4.00 Christy Beamish @25-1 EW (i quite fancy this one, make sure you get it with a firm that are paying 4 places though) / First Down Jets EW

4.40 Demi Beau / Ursis (20-1 antepost) EW

5.20 Arcalis EW (ground changing to favour him, stable coming back into form) / Pedrobob EW (antepost 16-1)

i think ive bet it every year its ran in the gold cup, everytime its talked the talk and failed to walk the walk. but the odds are pretty huge this year so like a fish im backing it again, any guesses?

Gotta be Beef or Salmon!

Would love this to win even tho id lose my money.

Reaction would be superb and the horse deserves it so much.

Wont happen tho. I wont be backing it.

Black Harry sums my Cheltenham up.   First horse I was going to get a return with and it falls at the last.

Thankfully, I managed to lay off to get my stake back at 1.03!

I'm starting to waiver.... Kauto is trading at less than 2.5 on betfair now. I can close out and have a risk free grand if the wonder horse wins. Must admit it's pretty damn tempting.

They forced my hand, I've laid half my bet back at 2.3.

Still think he's a certainty, but you never go skint taking a profit!

it's the smart thing to do Keith..We all know he's the best horse in the race..if he stands and stays he'll piss it but I wouldn't risk a grand on it.

I've laid him off pretty heavily..it will make or break my cheltenham..120£ down on the day because I laid of wichita...but Kauto is my main lay. (L'ami placing more then covers it though )

is the thinker overpriced at 14/1 ?? must have solid ew chances and on a running day is capable of taking advantage of some luck (like Kauto falling)

If you can get 14/1 on The Thinker for the Gold Cup that it won about twenty years ago for WA Stevenson, take it.

It would seem not quite soft enough for The Listener though Wink
