Just got given a free £10 bet on Paddy Power because they had a couple of issues with the site a couple of days back, so i've put it on Fair Along in the last today 7/1.

LEGEND ... that Animal is just awsome.
indeed..I think he's the best I've ever seen.
Better than best mate or Arkle?
better than best mate? definetly. He's won everything this season from 2miles to the Gold Cup. If he even wins half of the races he's won this season next season he'll undoubtebly be better in my opinion.
Arkle? I don't know. I've seen old video clips of Arkle but I'm not as old as you my friend.
It's like comparing Rooney to Lineker and Romario to Pele when you haven't seen both of them play.
Kauto has been amazing this season, he's done what no other has been able to achieve in one season and he's won this with the minimum of fuss.
I understand what your saying about Arkle but the results speak for themself.(though as you elude to I may not be the best person to argue his case)
I agree that the magnitude of kauto's achievements over various distances at this level is very impressive but i dont agree that it's comparatively anywhere near as impressive as best mates successive gold cup domination.
I think it was a sub standard gold cup and wonder if kauto could afford his obligatory ric at the last if running against the likes of see more business and kicking king

havent had a bet at the festival until today because i havent been able to watch it.
backed every race today and just had katchit in the 1st took 11/2 havent seen what price it went off at so dont know if it was the right thing to do.
Also backed : 235 - black harry win
315 - Kauto star win
400 - Ned kelly e/w
440 - Andreas e/w
520 - lord henry e/w
edit; apperas it went off at 11/2 so ignore that bit
good luck all
been a great day for me so far bit pissed off about andreas when i backed it it was 18/1 went off at 12s
never mind, winner in the 1st, fell at last in 2nd, winner in the 3rd, placed in the 4th, winner in the 5th with lord henry to go in the last

Fair Along is being smashed into on Betfair, currently 9/2, but I'm going to stick with it

Yesh mate, lost on Wednesday and Thursday.
But luckily 2 of my 3 biggest bets of the festival were 16-1 winners (Gaspara and Pedrobob) Shipit
Profitable + Enjoyable week. Back to the poker grind now though.
Also, well done to The Camel. a lot of what he said at the start of the week about laying faves such as BJK, Well Chief etc then banging it all on Kauto Star came good.

Been a great week. 10 times more fun than playing poker. If I had the courage of my convictions I would have won alot of money. As it was, it was still pretty damn good!
Congrats to Horneris and Karabiner for some top class tipping.
See you all here for Aintree
