Found him - Dave Shallow has 9,300 at present

John Gale and Lawrence Gosney's table is short on John Gale and Lawrence Gosney - have to conclude OUT and OUT

Bad Girl also OUT - she put her last 3kish in with QQ, found 44 against her, but Other Guy hit a 4 and she headed from the bar area looking surprisingly cheerful.

Some more post-dinner counts (thanks to Rolf for dividing the table areas for ease of counts):

Vicky Coren      8,300
Mikael Thuritz   9,475
Kevin O'Connell 9,400
Peter Eichhart  21,500
Martin Knape   18,000
Sven Polarski    28,000
Sverre Sundbo  16,900
Stuart Nash        6,200  (he says he "Got damaged before the dinner break - flopped top and bottom pair and had to put it down."
Dave 'El Blondie' 10,400
Richard Gryko     12,200
Simon Trumper   4,900
Simon Nowab    12,900
Kjirsti Grini         16,500
Pascal Perrault    2,500
Ram Vaswani     10,000
Anders Berg       5,200
Balrog              14,900
Bjarne Martinusson 16,000
BVDahl              6,700
Willie Tann        5,700 (after some kind of run in his Aces had with a 2 on a 2 5 2 flop)
George McKeever 17,500

That was my upstairs roundup - will track down Dave Clayton in a few moments.

Just enough time to tell you that they have started that "Hold up for the TV guy" thing when a player is called all-in.  Only a bit of grumbling from an AQ vs 88 race a minute ago: at the same time Simon Trumper was all in facing two potential callers, original raiser DC and Richard Gryko - so while they dwelled and passed the other guys had to be patient.  Simon ended up near the 10,000 mark after picking up the pre-flop raise and call.

Julian just came to tell me an exciting couple of stories, although not for Nameless guy he was up against..
1) Guy meant to raise, but did that One Oversize Chip throw.  Therefore he got four callers, including Mr. Thew in the big blind with 45.  The flop came down 2 3 5, he bet 2k, Julian raised all-in for 6k and Guy passed showing Aces!

2) Same guy all-in on button with the old Aces gets a call with AQ - two Queens on the flop knock him out.  Not the best of days.

Just found out that Norwegian Lady player Kjersti Grini (who's in good shape chipwise right now) is actually a world champion Handball player.  According to reliable informant Woody all Norwegian poker players are also masters of at least one other sport.  Extraordinary.

Another table has broken; blinds are currently 200 -400.

Mike Lacey just snuck out (OUT) without giving details of his post-dinner quickish exit.  "A rush of blood to the head... it's a bit embarrassing."  I left the man be, but Tom is back and I'm sure they're both delighted their site is up and running.  Better let him have a go online then.

With the blinds at 300 - 600, Simon Nowab pushed all-in on the button for 8,875 after some limping around the table had made the pot there and then 2,700.  All the limpers and blinds eventually passed to this strong move, including Kjersti who took the longest and counted down her considerable 26,000 chips.

Back with Yo-Yo - there had clearly been some sort of preflop action as there was over 2500 in the pot.  It was between him (S.B.) and the B.B. on a flop of  ad .  He bet out 1,200 and the big blind passed; he has around 10,300 now.

Sverre just doubled up Tom Murphy's mate Dave O'Callaghan with  qc qd vs Dave's  kc kd.  So Sverre down to 9,000ish and Dave up to 14,000, and off for a smoke with Tom.  What a bad influence, eh?

Incidentally, the AQ holder featuring a few posts earlier is Mr. Rene Peterson, sitting two to Julian's left (not too comfortable a position I'd imagine).  He has 20,800.

******15 minute break*******

Julian Brings Another Interesting Hand:  Chris Bjorin holds  js jc on the big blind.  UTG, Kiril raises w/  ad ac.
The next player along calls with  .

Flop brings  three clubs (unsuited, at any rate - I just love using the little cards)

Chris checks, Kiril Bets.  The 66 goes all-in rather happily I presume, for 8,000.  Chris passes rather easily, considering how long most people would take over this kind of decision, but Kiril calls and doubles the set up.  Interesting, eh?  Especially considering 4th street was  jh.  Annoying when worse play would have been rewarded rather largely...ah well.

Ladies and Gents, we have a new TV table and it's That Table.  Yes, Simon Trumper, El Blondie et al are all moving into the limelight.  It looks like they're giving Greg Raymer a break - he's been demolishing the table and is up to 40k or thereabouts.  Players went in, players came back out.  At least that's what it looked like over here in Laptop Corner.  Anyway, a little while after they moved Chandra Khajuria (22,000 at that time) to Greg's left, and he'd knocked out his sixth player or so, they all filed out for this break and are giving other people the mics.

It also appears that Vicky Coren is OUT from the vehement gesticulation in the cash game area, and with the blinds going up to 400 - 800 with an ante others will soon follow.

My Dutch buddy Sven Polarski has been moved to the TV table and was still sitting behind 27.000 chips when they moved him...

Wonder how long they last, with a table that tough!

Jen, could you:

a) Get Greg to write down his Top Tips To Tournament Success

b) Tell Vicky C that I love her

Really looking forward to the TV table now.
