Praz really is something special. K10 on a K1010 board. Sick.

With the flop  , Dinh Le bets 600 and gets himself called by the delightfully beardy Tom Ault, incidentally also another vague Vigo-lookalike contender. Turn comes  ; Dinh bets 1100, and Tom calls again. River comes  and Dinh goes all in for about 5000. Our beardy friend quietly folds. If he'd been like Vigo he would have eaten Dinh's soul. But he didn't.

Probably not the Etap (I kid you not) where we're staying. Our room is a bit like a student dorm room, only the bed has the kind of mattresses you get in prison. We are, however, very close to Cardiff Central station. Grrr.

Nick Hicks re-raises from the big blind - to 1,500 over a 400 early position bet.  Call.  Flop:  .  Nick bets out 1,500; dwell; call.
Turn:    quick check-check
River:    Nick checks, faces a 2,600 bet and passes.

He's pictured here mid-dwell with neighbour Angela Rich (Dana didn't make her up).

Chris Bruce comfortably doubled up first level, we hear, with pocket Kings vs. pocket Aces - all the way to the river it looked like the deck was coolish for him, but a King on the river came and it was the other guy wincing his way to the exit.

I think those hovering around this level (18-20k are the current chip leaders).  Full counts on their way after the 15 minute break.

Just caught up with the updates.

Good luck to all Blondites playing.

Can you keep an eye on Dylan Herbert and Richard Cowley.  They are both local lads who have a very good game.

Praz Bansi             7,500  (Up from 4k after a marvellous laydown after a K-T-T board with K-T: he was shown Kings...)

Even if Praz is a runhotlagtard at the moment, he really is different gravy.

Slight elaboration on this story - apparently the flop came K-T-A, with the second Ten, and the pass, happening on the turn.  Not that that really detracts from the interest of the hand at all.

Whats the nicest hotel within a 20 minute drive of the casino please?

St. David's Hotel in the Bay. 5 Star hotel, probably a 20 minute walk to the casino.

Seeing as I've been so helpful Smiley, could someone tell me if there are any cash games running yet and if so what blinds, short handed or full?

Thanks!
