I've recently thought about investing some money into becoming a member of a  reputable poker training site run by pros. Is anyone here a member of one of these? Is it useful?

Also, are we allowed to mention the names of other websites in the forum? If not that my stifle this discussion somewhat.

I'm a member of Pokerxfactor and would reccomend it if you play stts and tournaments. Although PXF has a cash game pro (Rizen), if you mostly play cash then you are better off trying Cardrunners, who have instructors such as Green Plastic and SBrugby. Both these sites have free content you can look at to see if you like what they offer. One other site to be aware of is pokermentors who offer one off classes on various topics - i took a cash game class for $55 (it lasted about 5hrs) and it has definitely paid for itself.

cardrunners is a great site.. it costs about $250 for signup and 6 months subscription, and it is without doubt worth every cent.. they have LucLongley/SBRugby/GreenPlastic doing videos and these are three of the best cash game players on the planet, and they are very free and analytical in their videos. They also have Action Jeff who is one of the greatest poker minds out there, but he doesn't go as deep as I wish he would.. and there is an empiremaker video for comedic value. Muddywaters videos are a load of gash so ignore them, and concentrate on the big three, its all archived so fill your boots.

Absolute bargain.
