Ronald Seymour raises to 3k, Nigel Willis makes it 13k, Ben Vinson thinks for an age before folding and Seymour passes.

Meanwhile, Des Jonas has just been eliminated. A-K vs. Jelinek's A-J. 7-T-4-J-6 board. Afterwards, Jelinek confessed to be slightly frustrated and played 'pissed off poker'. "Had an outdraw earlier, but it's evened out now."

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Alan Davies has doubled up. He waited for a hand for ages, and it eventually came in the form of Ace King off, which was re-raised all-in by Alwyn Power's A-Q. Alan Davies called, albeit after a surprising dwell (Simon and I said A-J, Eights, etc), but it worked out for him, no Queen hitting the J-9-J-7-6 board.

Apparantly there were 2 players missing from the chip counts, hopefully Andy was one of them. I'll confirm his presence next time I venture into the cardroom and obtain his chip count myself.

I think Jen's getting more action than me.

I did see a few raisey daisy kinda hands though, one of them involving Steve Jelinek who added to his stack by betting 11k into a 25k pot and a flop of Two Diamonds . Royce Law folded.

Hoss Parhizkar is very short at the moment and has entered all-in, nick the blinds and survive mode, last getting away with it when he pushed in for around 15-20k.

No, two names wrong - one of them was Andy - he was the one on 34k.  I have fixed my earlier chip list post to maintain the illusion of infallability.

My condolences, Andy was indeed missed out on the official chip count, but he is definietely out now as I just crossed his path as he exited the cardroom.

"Gone," announce Miles still smiling.

"What happened," I asked.

"Made a move with 8-3 and ran into Aces. Oops."

Meanwhile, I also spotted Frenchamn (I think), Alessio Isaia, hovering around the house games, although not playing - perhaps just considering.

Four tables left and they're still falling left, right and centre - Kayshan Muthy snaps off a 45k stack preflop push (holding three diamonds ) with his Aces - don't think that call was too strenuous...

Meanwhile Nick Wright told me about a very interesting hand involving Pete Haslam and Roy the Boy, in which a much tougher call was made on the river.  The board was Two Diamonds three diamonds and Roy had bet 20k into a 27k pot.  Pete, says Nick, eventually made the call with , snapping off a bust draw bluff from Roy holding with Ace high...

This picture of him is from yesterday, when he was sat next to the ghost of Iwan Jones.
