During the 15 minute break, I managed to ask the same question to both Joe Beevers and Roy Brindley, the two giving somewhat contrasting answers.
snoopy: "Any change?"
Joe: "55k"
Roy: "f***ed"
I think Joe's doing the better of the two...

Richard Strummer has lost a 40k pot with Jacks versus Big Slick, a cruel King hitting the River.

Mark Vos, who appears to be a thoroughly pleasant and articulate young chap, is having a troublesome day...
"I'm down to 13k, losing pretty much every pot I enter. I had nines on the small blind at one point, hit a straight but ran into a flush. Plenty of time though"

Hey Blondes! Any updates on the Dutch guy named Peter Dalhuijsen? I believe he was second in chips a while ago. Thank you!

Some notes courtesy of Dave Colclough...
"The blonde one is up to 29k at the break. Sharing blinds with Andy Black, twice it was passed round twice, twice he raised - twice I moved all-in over the top with an ace - twice he folded.
The John Shipley moved all-in for 9k under the gun with J-Q. I called with A-K. Ace on the Flop, Jack on the River. I knocked out my closest friend in poker (It's been that sort of week for me).
Andy Black (now 98k) knocked out Chris Moneymaker. Andy raised with Q-Q, Chris called from the BB, Flop of K-K-7, no action, Turn 2, Chris bet, Andy called, River 4, Chris bet, Andy out-talked Chris and re-raised. Chris chose to move all-in for another 10k. Andy called, showed Q-Q and Chris mucked.
Barry Greenstein is also on the same table with approx 55k"
Straight from the blonde one's mouth.

Arnaud Mattern tackles Chad Brown (not in a physical sense):
Arnaud had raised to 3,600 on the button and limpers (and big stacks) William Thorsson and Chad Brown called. This is the point at which I would be thinking, "Wonderful."
Flop:
William checked, Chad checked, and Arnaud gave it a 7.5k bet. William got out of the way, but Chad counted out 25k and calmly shoved it into the middle. Arnaud still had 37,000 behind, and after a brief consideration, passed with mild to moderate pain.

We put a photo of him up on one of the earlier pages (just click the earlier numbers to have a quick scan), and his count at the time was 40k. Will recheck on next pass.
