Morning, the players are warming up and ready for action and the... oh, hold on. Crap, I've forgotten to go to bed!

These three have worked so hard this week they actually look like they could sleep for a week, but still I think not only has the usual blonde updating service, with the perfect blend of humour and factual content, been in evidence, I actually think this is the best update ever. I doth my cap to the three of you for your dedication, hard work, humour, and maintained high standards, fantastic work...so good I came back to my hotel room to read the updates online rather than watch the action live!!

Only one thing wrong with Jaffa's quote.... he didn't include STRUMMMMMMMMMMMMER!!!

Now lets see a final with andy black, josh, chad, carlos and ram.

And so say all of us!

Thank you Jeff - you have no idea - really - how much that means to our intrepid triumverate, who have had a difficult week, & worked till they dropped.

Agreed all the updaters have done a sterling job as usual..................in fact I would say even though we are only just over halfway through this has been the best update ever.............I dont know if the budget stretches to 3 updaters regularly but the coverage is more than 100% better................long live the Blonde updates.

Ok, well it's going to be difficult from now until the bubble as we've now got about.. "as much access as a homeless guy..."  that's according to one of our american blogger colleagues. Yes, the camera teams have abruptly made everyone leave the area, because, as you can see, there's very little space in the huge gaps in between the tables.

During the break, I managed to undertake a bit of eves-dropping, during which I overheard American Jesse Steinberg comment to his friend on the rail, "These guys aren't scared of the bubble, they're quite prepared to push at this stage."

Do you think that William Hill guy could get himself a deal by threatening to change his name ?

I also caught up with Brit Dave 'doops' Barriclough, who seemed vastly chirpy, and understandably so as he'd just doubled up to 80k, raising to 8.5 pre-flop, finding one caller in the big blind, before calling an all-in push on a T-9-2 Flop. David called with Aces to find himself well ahead against K-J, but with a Jack on the Turn, the Dave Penley lookalike was up against 9 (I think) outs, all of which failed to hit.

"An 9 hit the River so for a moment I thought I'd lost to a straight," said a relieved doops.
