QQ festival hand

Brighton festival last night £100 with limited rebuys:
Last 4 tables average stack is 17k, blinds 800-1600.
You have 21k and QQ UTG, you make it 4500, your image is not good, you have opened for 4500 quite a few times already this level.
Young oppo in the 3rd seat jams for 16k, he has been fairly tight but you have some idea that he knows what he is doing (he is not over nit like)
CL in the SB new to the table, big roulette player and occasional donator in the cash game flat calls the 16k!! He has just joined the table.
Pass or Play?

I'd call, but then I do that with QQ. I normally wish I had passed though.
I think with the CL calling, you have to call for the value.

as you are on your 14th cocktail, keep slurring it neverends and you have a small but noticable chunk of salmon en croute stuck between your top lip and nose from the dinner break.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

can you afford to fold and give the impression that when you raise you'll fold to an all-in?
i think with those blinds i shove. great opportunity to get a stack you can really go places with.

Ok i reasoned even the biggest mug is not going to be flat calling the 16k without AA/KK and so i passed. The pusher had TT and the caller had AK, my hand would have stood up for a 55k pot and i would have been uber CL.
Not often i make big passes, it seems every time i do i get them wrong as well.
P.S. Chirp Chirp won it anyway £5600 hollaaaaaaaa
