Julian Thew was down to 4k at one point as a result of playing multiple pots and not winning any of them, before getting back up to 8k with Kings v Queens. Honest as ever, though, Julian confesses that he is "playing like a penis." How a penis plays poker, I'm not sure, but it could provide some norkage shots for our women viewers.

2. Kev O'Connell has give up Drinking for 3 months. ( He has had a bet with Roland for 10,000 Euro's) this will be the 4th day on the Wagon, so expect some Agression and Focus.

Jesus Christ this was the bet of the year. if Kevin can give up booze for 3 months, I'm a Dutchman.

Also a nice smiley one of Neil Channing for his mum (he's having a lovely time!), and a few others I took before the break...

Daivd Benjamine (11k) is sharing a table with Willie Tann (7.1k) and Northerner Reyaaz Mulla, who is doing very well with 20k in chips.

Hi team,

Looking forward to another great weekend of updates.

Can you pass best wishes to Graham Clarkson (don't have a pic I'm afraid) from the Officepoker guys in Edinburgh please. And good luck also to Rory Matthews.

Geo.

I hope Andy Black has washed that Eminem T-shirt since he wore it at the EPT final table.

No idea how he's doing currently, but I believe someone was asking after Stuart Hill...

I found a good way of getting easy chip counts was to wait at the bottleneck of the tournament area (from which all players were banished for the break) and shout, "Chipcount?!" as they passed me.  Here's what I gleaned (about to scour the whole room, which may take up to half an hour):

Paul Gourlay     6,000
Ash Hussain      7,750
Pete Haslam     8,000
Bhupinder Kohli   9,000
Stephen Pearce  28,000
Richard Ashby     15,000
Jim Kerrigan         OUT
Praz Bansi            OUT
Carlo Citrone      9,500  (no hands over two hours on the TV table, except for a 75-nicking KK - now off that table)
Devilfish            14,000
Mickey Finn        8,000
David Poole        11,000
Strummer          12,000
Azad Pirooti        20,000
Chris Smith         8,000
Peter Roche       12,000
Brian Johnston    16,500
John Conroy       10,500  (and thanks to him for providing a good handful of these counts)
Ian Woodley       10,500  ("It's too early; last year I went down to 6k, doubled up, and it went from there...")

Here also is Devilfish, according to Jen on 14,000 although he claimed during the break that he was on 16,000. "We're going up, bebe, that's the idea," is what he said.
