Barney Boatman is OUT.

"It just wasn't my day," he said in defeat.

... which tends to translate as "I got it in behind and stayed behind."

I did search for Thomas Wahlroos, Eamonn Walsh and Chris Moorman, but they've either moved table or have been eliminated.

I know Chris and Thomas, but I'm going to need a photo for Eamonn if I'm going to hunt him down too.

Nicolas Levi is also OUT.

He was down to just 2.5k after a torrid first few levels, and found himself up against 8-8 after re-raising from the blind with A-2. No help arrived.

Righteo, I believe (and hope) that these are the McHugh brothers, Brendan and Danny.

If I'm correct in that assumption (as well as the one calling them brothers), then Brendan is on 5,325 and Danny 7,725.

McHugh cousins. You were close

According to the great man himself, he missed a nut flush draw earlier on in a 6-way pot, before finally getting it all in with a "big draw" but missing against his opponent's top pair.

"I've never been ahead today, but I've always had a good reason to stick my chips in," he mused.

Marty Wilson is up to 31,000. I heard him being interviewed by some kind of film crew - he was talking about Poker Hands (the medical condition, not the cards you get). He says Norwegian Formula hand cream is the key to his success. They do look all soft and moisturised...

if he's been eliminated i would move your 'hunt' to the direction of the nearest bar...  Roll Eyes

OK, I counted chips until the world started to go fuzzy round the edges - the order in which these appear is the order I got to the tables, therefore the further they are from the start of the list, the more likely they are to be still accurate:

Meanwhile, the bad beat of the day goes to Stephen McLean, who had Aces v Kings on a K-A-3 flop, but was outdrawn by Quads on the River.

Double ouch!

Dave Masters (whose stack has apparently now recovered to 19k after this) just lost a chunky pot to neighbour (Patrick Rath, according to my list).  With the blinds at 100/200 he raised to 1,875 over two limpers (as you do).  Rath called out of position - the flop:
Rath checked in the dark, Dave bet out 3k almost immediately.  A decent think later, "Clock!" calls Dave and his opponent called, gingerly.
Turn:    Now Rath moves in for around 5,500.  Dave calls, with - he sees against him.
River:    and it's the flush, in the end, which officially wins that big pot.  "What a call preflop..." marvels Dave Masters, and I'm inclined to agree with him...

Paul Magner, whom I like a lot because he looks like a sailor, lost some chips to the now pretty smug Soren Kongsgarre, who sounds like he could fight Godzilla. On a flop of  , Kongsgarre bet 900 and Magner (I am Magner than you!) called.  turn and they both check.  river and check to Magner; he bets 3,000. Kongsgarre raises to 8,000 and the big guy folds pretty swiftly.
