This rather poor pic is of Frenchman Paul Testud, that's as happy as a Frenchman ever gets to look. And he's out, which IS a shame. In truth, he's great fun at the table, rather loud maybe, but always smiling, & I like peeps who smile a lot.

Ariston.. A dinner break at the Sandcastle. Are you having a laugh. They can have the wedding any afternoon, only finals take place then. Will Red-Dog be playing in finals this year or shall we keep him a table at the bar for the afternoons?Huh???

Only Joking Mr. BlueWriting Red-Dog Sir.

Tobias Persson OUT - 12th place and €8,208 to him.

Martin Jensen's A2 got him a double up from Torstein Iversen's KQ so these counts are a bit off, but here they are regardless:

Christian Grundtvig  170,000
Ingemar Bachman   160,000
Gunnar Osterbrod   260,000
Edgar Skjevold         71,000
Peter Muhlbeck       320,000
Abel Meijberg         220,000
Martin Pollak             54,000
Patrik Antonius        340,000
Martin Jensen           40,000
Torstein Iversen      180,000
Kurt Muller                30,000

But this is a much better pic, this is none other than the ever-smiling Spaniard Luca Pagano. He's bricklayer by trade, apparently. And you moan about MY Jacket?

We NEVER moan about your jacket, you are too hard on yourself. Scoff at and ridicule your jacket maybe but never moan.

Kurt Muller OUT in 11th place (€8,208)

Having held on for simply ages with an ever-dwindling stack, his eventual all-in with A10 got four callers, with Patrik Antonius hitting two pair to send him home.

I rest my case. He's certainly got a bit of Spanish in him, or has had at some time.

Actually, he is a TOP bloke, I like him a lot. Another constant smiler. Massive feet though, absolute canoes.

Five minute break as the remaining ten shuffle around.  It looks like Woody from the Team Norsemen is more nervous than his countrymen Torstein Iversen, Edgar Skjevold and Gunnar Osterbrod, who are all still in!  It's a near all-Scandie final!

More trivia for you. Here's an overview of the rather nice Honours Board they have here, ("framed" between the two flags),  it's hewn from solid granite. Close up to follow, as there are one or two interesting names upon it.
