Found Chili smoking a cigarette. She's doing fine on 14k, but keeps having those upsetting moments when you fold your rubbish before the flop, only to see that you would have hit spectacularly. One particularly sad hand, she called a raise with 6 - 8; Vicky Coren re-raised and she folded. The flop came 6 - 8 - 10, and the turn another 6. The chips flew in, Vicky holding pocket queens and someone else holding another overpair. Maria would have take them both out, which would have made her happy, but she didn't and she's not. "You can't call a re-re-raise [I guess there was more raising than Vicky's preflop] with 6 - 8. Oh well, back to work..."

Bad luck for Chili, but at least she and Vicky are still going strong.

Hello from across the pond!  This is Jen while Snoopy obsesses over his hair.  Please tell him it's fine.

Thanks Jen and Bandit. I have had some words with Snoopy about his hair and I think it's all fine. It's all going to be ok. We do indeed have food, although it's an inexplicable Chinese/Indian/pizza melange which is making me feel a bit unusual. Had a strange conversation in the queue with Dave Colclough about banjeleles as well. More coffee! Hope you're having a nice time in Vegas now.
