I agree, this preflop action can only ever be QQ/JJ or AA, and against that range you are in dire straights... also you have only put 55% of your stack in the middle, so you still have plenty to play with.. and the early stages of smallish buyin MTT's play very tight and KK is rarely good here

i play a bit bit lower than $55 but this is almost always a high pair, so decent fold.

Same, unless he is a noted strong player i cannie fold. So many mugs out there its a long term loser to fold this @ $55 imo.

I'd need to be dead sure of my opposition (e.g. that they'd play AA or QQ in this fashion), before I'd fold... and I'm not sure I could ever be that sure.
