Nefarious Frenchman Eric Cantona may not be here in person, but he is here in spirit, and on the back of this magazine, looking like a complete turnip as usual.

Meanwhile Peter Gould (pictured) takes a pot off Nikolas Liakos, whom Ramzi refers to as "the luckiest fish in Stockholm." Well this perhaps Greek perhaps Scandie player was moved to the Gould/Gourlay table a good couple of levels ago and has a reasonable 35k at this point, and has as Snoopy said joined the table with the greatest degree of non-complaint ridden chat on it...
Anyway, Peter scoops in the chips and Ramzi wonders, "When did you English learn to bluff?"
Also half pictured is Paul Gourlay on the right, in the process of the hat reversal. He does look slightly odd, having gone out in the break and bought large white-rimmed sunglasses which give the room a pleasant bluish tinge (I tried them on) but make him look like he might be out on a day pass from somewhere cushioned.

LOL
and the tshirt?
Sigh, women are only ever after me for one thing.
It is a good shirt though...someone has excellent taste (in 80s movies if nothing else...)
I'll reserve judgement until he's snapped in a 'Heathers' t-shirt.
Who's Heather? Is she good looking?

A gurntastic Guillaume Darcourt is grimacing for town and country after losing a big pot to Runarsson Runar, doubling him up in the process.
With the board reading
, Guillaume made an obligatory, yet still reluctant call on the River, only to see his opponent turn over Pocket Deuces, the expression on Darcourt's face telling us he had the straight.
Down to 24,075, but not out.

Here's the full Gourlay impression, "I bought Scandie sunglasses for €90!" he says, just as the left lens falls out. Again.

James Witkowski is OUT.

Incidentally, there are 46 players currently remaining - well done Britney, was it? Someone said that, anyway. You win something decided by Snoopy. Or perhaps nothing but that feeling of having guessed correctly (anyone ever done that 'How many jelly beans in the jar?' game?)...
