Think I was the 30th person to join blonde. Tikay use to write some tourny reports on THM forum and shortly afterwards blonde was created and he asked people to check it out. Being one to support new ventures I joined in the first few days.

When pokerplayer magazine was first published i started using thier forum and the most interesting posts seemed to be generated from another forum, I asked the poster for a link but he wasnt sure if he was allowed to post links so instead gave me a code to break, he said "these certain hair coloured girls are meant to have more fun".

So after employing some of the retired enigma code breakers of World War II and a couple of private detectives, 6 months later i joined up to blondepoker.com.

I sat next to Thewy at Notts a few times in close succession and we'd got chatting. then one night I got moved to a table with 1xSB left and was sat next to Tikay. I came back from the SB to win the tourney outright and had a long chat with Tikay about Thewy, poker in general and DC. we exchanged email addresses and I ended up being added to an email group consisting of about 20 players, most of which I think are lurkers and occasional posters here.

We got a blow by blow account of Blondes conception and development and the sites launch and then later the forum were anticipated by the email group. I was out on day 1 but was member 2 on day 2. I forget who beat me to it that day. some mug who doesn't post much I think.

the tone on THM forum at the time had become especially unpleasant and the Blonde forum was a huge breath of fresh air.
