Ladies and Gentlemen of blonde, the time has come in my life to start making changes to my lifestyle and general outlook.

I have decided that with immediate effect I shall start drinking in the day time regularly, I understand that this will be a minor change to my normal attitude to life in general but it is something that I feel I need to do.

I will stop smoking Silk cut and buy Marlboro  but will not give a definite date yet.

I will be going to the dentist ( I fancy the new Dental nurse from Poland she is approximately 18yrs old ) and will just throw myself at their mercy of her and tell them to just do what they need to, I am very conscious of my teeth and need to get laid.

To be quite truthful, I hate the skins I use for Hash  and want to do something about it before its too late.

So its Hello to pies, chips, chocolates and the like, and Good bye to a more structured and healthy living regime.

I know it will be hard work but I also know that I can do it (im a stubborn bastard and by posting it on here i know that it will serve as a reminder and a place to look back on when times get tough, and give me the focus to maintain the willpower)

So that's it, a tough challenge but one that I am ready for.... no scales/starting weights etc.. I'm just going to eat more Kebabs, take more sleep and basically keep the habits of a lifetime.

Im inclined to think there might be a lady behind this too.

First of all if she likes you then she likes you as you are so why change?

Second if she likes you why change...should I go on?

Shareholders in ginsters will miss ur support and may even go bankrupt

People will lose jobs..workers will be paid off...kids wont get christmas presents..morgages wont be paid.

In fact the whole world will suffer if Kev gives up his pies.

I wish you well on ur quest being more healthy gl xx

Thanks for all the good luck messages, its good to have the support of friends when you are attempting to do something that is so alien to you.

To  answer a few responses, I am doing this for myself, not for anyone else, the end result will be self respect and self satisfaction and that is all the motivation I need.

So Like I said, thankyou for the support and encouragement and I will try and drop a post on this thread every now and then to keep everyone informed of my progress.

I too gave it some thought, cocolate, cigs, sex?Huh?..........The thought lasted a few seconds!!!

Has someone upset you by saying you look a bit rough on the tele?

Good luck with your proprsed changes, take it slowly though, don't go mad straight away.

Just stop having pies for breakfast initially, then cut out your elevensies etc

Good luck, but I fear you have already made a mistake. Saying you are going to stop smoking but not deciding when to do it is just not good enough. Just stop right now! No patches, no gum, just stop. It's easy to do. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. The additction to nicotine goes in less than a week, its just the habit forming situations that are more difficult to deal with, i.e. pint n cig. But as your new you won't be including much of that, its should be a dawdle for you.

I don't agree - trying to change everything at once means more likely to fail I would have thought.  I would concentrate on getting the healthy eating sorted, get the teeth done, then introduce some exercise and tackle the smoking once all that is second nature.  Each to their own of course.

I plan on giving up the fags in a few weeks, and saving the money spent to get my teeth done too Grin
