Times Online May 15,2007 Norman Pace, one half of Hale and Pace, the comedy duo, has launched a company that trains attractive female poker players. Pace hopes that, once trained, they will appear in tournaments and win sponsorship deals. He will take a cut of anything they earn.
“Generally it’s male dominated. Women play online, where they can hide behind their laptops,” says Pace, who has been playing for four years and is married to a professional poker player.
Candidates need to have “a passion for the game and a keen desire to learn”. So far four women fit the criteria. “It’s going to be a bit like Charlie’s Angels ,” he says... I hope you'll be telling them to join blonde.

We sould make up some sort of scale with a pic attached and there number from 1 to 10  They have got to get worse the further up you go so this is top totty as number one 1)  |

i think its disgraceful that even nowadays, womens good looks can get them further than an average looking woman. If there that good looking open a modelling agency not a poker school. Hope he gets no sponsorship deals and no income.

of course goodlooking people have certain advantages over people not blessed with goodlooks. Nothing disgracefull about it..Looks matter...especially for us beautifull people  |

so we are supposed to treat people the same because of their skin colour and religion but not if there fetures are more refined, i think its bollox, hope pace does his conkers in on the deal

Must admit I was surprised to see such blatant whateveritis from Mr Pace. Then again I read a article in Poker Europe magazine where a runner up in a 'win a sponsorship' tourney was given the sponsorship because "she played better" and just happened to be blonde and pretty |
