I've never met you so I cant jump in I'm afraid. Ms Tilly is not my cup of tea but shes famous and some class her as attractive so she has done well for herself, she ain't got the deal for being the greatest poker player in the world thats for sure from what I've seen on TV. Jenn, Bev and most of the other women on here would make mincemeat out of her on the table but how many of you have done a soft core porno with Gina Gershwin? Maybe this has something to do with how she has gotten on so well in the mainly male poker world

he ran this idea past me a few weeks ago in the green room at sky and i thought it was a brilliant idea.

nothing wrong with a bit of glamour in any walk of life and as a business proposition beauty sells (either male or female)

I don't think it's Norman getting the hard time as such. It's more that women need encouraging into poker, attractive or not.

in this world of equal oppurtunities theres nothing stopping women at all from doing just what men do and walk into a casino and play.

in fact there is more chances for women with these uneccessary women only tournaments

Not all women have the confidence to enter a room almost full of men and sit down with 8 of them at a poker table.  Normans support would include, I  assume taking a team of trainees to these tournaments, therefore taking the support they may require into the tournament with them. 

We need more good women poker players to level the playing field and I truely believe in time it will happen, slowly as in most male dominated areas, but it will happen.

If a woman decided to try this idea then would we all be so opposed to it ? 
Its a sound business idea in my opinion, an untaped and growing market.  Im the first to say that we can hold our own against any man but then no one would ever accuse me of lacking confidence but attractive or not some women would be intimidated.  I think it will be an interesting experiment and I am looking forward to seeing the results.

I may not agree with it or like it and we can argue till were blue in the face but fact is fact, men by nature like to look at good looking women.
