Couldn't believe that Fergie was trying to claim that Giggs should have had a penalty, I thought Jose was the bad loser but that was plain clutching at straws. Maybe if Ronaldo had turned up today they might have tried to score a goal?

Yeah Ronaldo was quiet, and when he is, we can never do anything.

Let the debate start

A cup double has to be better than winning the Premiership.
No way the Premiership is the real test.
Or none of them really matter compared to the Champions League.

Hmm must start a poll.

Champions league
Premiership
FA Cup
League cup

for me

Champions league > Premiership
Domestic double < Champions league (only just)
champions league > than cup double
Domestic treble > champions league
cup double < Premiership

If Liverpool win wednesday Man Utd and Chelsea fans will be envious but it's still nice to get the league trophy back. I'm sure Chelsea fans are reasonably happy with their haul too.

good competeive season. long may it continue

the league table doesnt lie, ther best side will win over 36 games.

cups are good and in the following order champions league,f a cup , uefa cup, league cup.

for me winning the league outwieghs them all.

man united were the best this season and are champions.

and i think most of you know my team

As I've said in the other thread - the league is the one to win.  The Champions League is a close second, but it's second to the league.

I'd quite happily swap the European Cup (if we win this Wednesday) for manure's League title.

I'm quite sure chelsea would swap both of their cups for either of the two 'big ones'.

I think chelsea will be disappointed with their haul this season, as they were up there challenging on all four fronts.  Saying that, winning the two cups means that their season hasn't been a wash-out.

What a dull game the FA Cup final was.  Thought Joe Cole should have been sent off early doors for that horrendous two footed from behind tackle he lunged in with - very very lucky to get away with that without even a yellow.

Good goal by Chel$ea, they've invested enough to win at least one decent trophy a season

Premiership is the trophy to win, the others are great, but the league is the main priority for every club.  Even for those not in contention, remaining in the Premiership is their main goal.
