The league is the big one.

It'll be a GREAT consolation if we win the Champions League though.

Oh, and chavski would give up both of those cups to be in the Champions League final.

Cup Double obviously a better achievement than the League only.

lol, I am the only voter for Chelsea, as i hate Man Utd so hard.

It was brillaint rubbing it in the face of the filth fans in the pub today. Classic. Also backed the 0-0 and draw, for a tidy profit. A good day all round Smiley

That wasn't the question though was it?

I hold manure in the same contempt, but their achievement this season outweighs the chavs' cups and Liverpool getting to the Champions League final.  If we win on Wednesday, it'll certainly be a cracking season for Liverpool - but give us the league anyday.  The Champions League is the icing on the cake - the league is the cake.

Man Utd have been a mile better than Chelsea, or anyone else in the League. the league is the measure of consistancy. Man Utd have been consistantly better.

Cup double is a good result but a double without the league isn't a double. Obviously Utd fans really wanted the real double (or more) but faced with a straight swap for Chelsea's cup results compared to regaining OUR league title? no contest for me.

Champions league is the one we all want and I hope Liverpool get it.
they still haven't been as good as Man Utd or Chelsea overall but it's still the biggie.

Man U have done fantastic this season. More than any other time when they were champions in the 90's I like their football. Their achievement is coupled with the fact that they haven't changed their team that much. That's good management.

I'd still rather win the Champions League though.

"end of"

we not having a friendly exchange of opinions? your view is the only view is it?

for me personally

Champions league > Premiership
Domestic double < Champions league (only just)
champions league > than cup double
Domestic treble > champions league
cup double < Premiership (again, only just)

If Liverpool win wednesday Man Utd and Chelsea fans will be envious but it's still nice to get the league trophy back. I'm sure Chelsea fans are reasonably happy with their haul too.

good competeive season. long may it continue
