When we broke from 3 tables to 2, Ash joined my Table with maybe 70k, way above average, probably double.

We had a nightmare Calling Station who had about 55k.

It's Passed round to Calling Station (CS) who limps for 1k. Ash, in the Big Blind, thinks & thinks, then says "all-in", thinking that'll get rid of Mr CS.

Mr CS announces "I've already Passed this hand once tonight, I can't pass it again", & calls all-in, showing KQ. Ash had 3-3, the K & Q both flopped.

Are you sure you have this correct? Either he limped for 1k from the sb, so its 1k-2k or around the back so its 500-1k, either way Ash wants to put in 55k with 33? Either this hand is mis reported or Ash's lack of finals might have something other than form to blame!

I reported the hand correctly, though I can't recall whether it was 500-1,000, or 1k-2k - it makes no difference, essentially. Mr CS was in the Cut-Off or Botton.

Well done Tikay- I had the pleasure of your company for most of the 300 pound event but unfort. was too short stacked to hand around for much of the final table.
