Hi, folks, just a quick note to inform you that blonde poker will be keeping you all up to date on this year's World Series of Poker with full results as and when we receive them.

To view the full schedule, simply click the link below.

http://www.blondepoker.com/index.php?q=node/10122

Note by the bold type that one result (Event #2) has already come through. To view these results, all you have to do is click the link and Bob's your uncle.

Of course, many other sites will be giving you the full results of this year's Series, so to add something a little different, I shall be highlighting all the Brits and blondeites, not to mention the 'name' players. Hopefully then you won't have to scour through the endless list of random Mateyboys.

To access the schedule from the homepage (http://www.blondepoker.com), simply click the text link entitled 'WSOP results' on the right hand side of the screen underneath the heading 'Tournament Trail'.

The page is also availble via the forum by selecting 'live circuit' in the menu bar at the top of this page.

Cheers,

snoops

Will the blonde live update team be attending the WSOP this year? If so, when?

LOL, event 1 breaks the record for youngest bracelet winner.

Gonna be a tough one to beat, unless the US ever changes it gambling laws - 21 years, 11 days!

Does it strike anyone else as strange to start off the World Series with a Limit/No Limit Round of Each $5,000 Freezeout?

Why would they go with this one?

Dunno, but if I had the cash I would fancy a go at that one, There would be lots of weak limit players there who play mostly No limit.

Big buy-in = lots of name players and fewer mateyboys.
Limit/NL = Any NL mateyboys that do take part get undone by the pros in the limit rounds.

Result = Big name player takes first bracelet and provides big story to kick things off, meaning the WSOP won't start off with the focus being badly designed cards/huge registration lines/crappy air con.

Foolproof!!

Doesn't it encourage a smaller field though. Would they not be looking to start off with a bang in terms of numbers?

They'd rather have a name field, I think. The mateyboys can wait.

Maybe they wanted a smaller field in case of problems - easier to handle 400 players than 3,000.
